I positively agree with your opinions. I had 6 Amiga models back in the day and the A600 was the least favourite at the time. The A500+ was gone from the sales agents and I wanted Workbench 2.0 and the 2MB chip memory. I had it only for 4 months because I needed the keypad for OctaMED.

I'm not sure DAW was a term when that was made, but its Octamed. Its a tracker with some MIDI ability.

Just added the #OctaMED #Tracker Note Spread feature to #Paketti #Renoise #LUA #Patreon #Demoscene #Chiptune
this will just take the current track and spread the notes, keeping the note off etc. you can increment and decrement, or shoot to "4 note columns" or "12 note columns" (1...12 note columns).

Honestly I have no clue, if it is Amiga software running in an emulator it should be possible to pull it off the flash. But I would have to buy the damn thing and it's £140. I'm not that invested in getting the new version of OctaMED lol

I’m sure! I think my brain is just hard-wired to tracker sequencers after decades of making music that way, so anything that doesn’t look like Octamed is a whole world of pain.

Loads to sort through! Many have not survived being in the attic. But lots of music trackers like Octamed. I used to make (awful) music with those 😂

It’s the sound of many 80s songs.
The result was basically #OctaMED on the Amiga, but about 5 years earlier and much more expensive.
Today QuasarBeach offers the best emulator.
