Hello, followers old and new! My name is Ben and I make music under the name Max Tundra. Instead of a bio, I would like to share this @thequietus.bsky.social review of my 2nd LP as it does a far superior job of explaining my whole "thing" than anything else out there. thequietus.com/quietus-revi...
Reissue Of The Week: Mastered By Guy At The Exchange By Max Tundra | The Quietus
The internet, in the infant years of the 21st century, was a maximalist experience. It was defined by cacophony – a frenzy of pop-ups, gaudy webpages, brightly coloured windows, all competing for spac...

Can anyone recommend a decent UK-based synth repairer? Specifically one that can fix this broken dial on me Alesis Micron? The metal bar from the potentiometer has snapped clean off!

Mashhad fights back! 🚗 On Jan 7, a car was filmed running over regime forces as they were chasing a protester. This second vantage point captures the moment the tide turned. The hunters have become the hunted! 👊🦁🇮🇷

It’s that time again!
One thing I miss from ancient times is sending/receiving a frenzy of text messages on the stroke of new year midnight - long-lost pals doing their annual check-in alongside nearest & dearest, mobile message centres getting so overloaded with N73-typed greetings that some would take hours to arrive.

It's just not cricket!
The cover features a batsman striking with the rear of his bat and a bowler who can only have ended up there by vaulting the stumps. The umpire has disappeared. There are two wicket keepers. There's no non-facing batsman. 9 of the 11 fielders are directly behind or in front of the stumps.

Have asked this before, but has anyone started receiving any monthly PRS streaming royalties? Not a sausage (apart from normal payment dates) for yours truly so far! www.prsformusic.com/press/2025/p...

If you've got any Bandcamp Friday bunce left over after copping the Los Thuthanaka album, consider my own wares! If you've enjoyed my music lately, supporting on Bandcamp genuinely helps me keep making it around the day job. Most albums are pay-what-you-want. I pray you want. maxtundra.bandcamp.com

Ben Jacobs grew up in London. He went to the same school as Jude Law and a Chemical Brother, but didn’t know them.

This would appear to have taken place since Farage’s school days. Not really “playground banter” is it? www.theguardian.com/uk/1999/oct/...

I see someone’s taken up the hobby of music nerd fishing. It’d be funny if this was legit new Aphex and nobody heard it because nobody wanted to give £5 to a random Gumroad site

Walked past this the other day. When you scan it, you are directed to download something called “LDN 2025”. I suspect it’s fake, as haven’t seen any mention online, but you never know…
