#nonpeaceful
What is defined as "peaceful" or "nonpeaceful" would, of course, open up another debate about what constitutes permissible freedom of speech. But I also think the DPP wants the KMT to have a reaction that it can use for political ammo

Wishing you peace during these distinctly nonpeaceful times, BlueSky friends.
Stay Resistant. We will not fail.

Trying everything he can to rile up the opposition before tomorrow; he's hoping for something nonpeaceful to break out that he can extrapolate into 'THE WHOLE COUNTRY IS BURNING' and it'll be martial law, ICE agents on every corner and a replay of Germany about 90 years ago.

On October 18 at the Rally, remember to bring "Peaceful" with you. Ready to use.

Practice peaceful responses to things that trigger you (work on your triggers).
A nonpeaceful response will not de escalate the situation.

Bring "Peace" signs and clothing with Peace as the message

I’ve been called Nazi just for driving a Tesla my son left me before he died of cancer in 2021. I remember the nonpeaceful protests of 2020. I’ve been part of a far right militia that planned to cut off NYC from resources. I’ve seen the evil and been a part of it even on both sides.

Where did I say armed uprising? There's a shitload of examples of nonpeaceful unarmed protests in just the past decade -- Hong Kong, Jakarta right now, Euromaidan iirc, 2020 BLM protests

When we light the streets up, and march on them, they cannot stop us.

Peaceful, nonpeaceful, as long as we are united, they fucking lose.

🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮 I can’t wait for justice to come. History guarantees it.

Never forget who oiled the gears.

Fascism did come wrapped in a flag carrying a Bible.

Heretics. Treason. Courts holding barely. There’s only one peaceful option. #GeneralStrike Other options are acceptance, and nonpeaceful.
Mike Johnson: "God miraculously saved the president's life -- I think it's undeniable -- and he did it for an obvious purpose. His presidency and his life are the fruits of divine providence. He points that out all the time and he's right to do so."

Distinguishing between peaceful and nonpeaceful protests is oppressor nonsense💚

Absent a nonpeaceful uprising or a national strike, the R Congress needs to stop this and that isn’t happening. Obama and W should call for a national strike but Obama doesn’t have the teeth for something like that and W is too much of a corporatist. It’s insane.

I was really disappointed with Kare11's on-air coverage of the protest, too. Fear-mongering, claiming that anyone with a mask was nonpeaceful, saying that those waving Palestinian flags and carrying black lives matter signage were from counter protests or that they were there to cause trouble.

I'm not against peaceful protests. My comment isn't about peaceful/nonpeaceful protesting. This isn't peaceful protesting, it's offering up a sacrifice.

Time to yell:
NO PROTEST SHOULD EVER BE PEACEFUL
PROTESTS ARE MEANT TO DISSRUPT THE STATIS QUO (PEACE)
NONPEACEFUL IS NOT THE SAME THING AS VIOLENT
THESE TWO CONCEPTS ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE
JUST LIKE ANARCHY IS NOT INTERCHANGEABLE WITH WORD CHAOS NO MATTER HOW MUCH THE STATE WANTS YOU TO BELIEVE.

Remember these happenings in 2020? This article is more relevant than ever, as experts discuss peaceful protesting vs. nonpeaceful protesting in times like these. What do you think about it?

both peaceful and nonpeaceful responses are ok. what the federal government is doing is not peaceful and requires a strong response. as you said before, this is the moment. what they are doing in LA and elsewhere is not acceptable and should be thwarted, however possible.

how many years more do you think we have?

at what point does your pacifism become peaceful enough to know your enemies rely on your nonviolence to thrive?

at what point do you start to understand peaceful violence is more effective than nonpeaceful pacifism
May 22, 2025 at 2:48 PM
The only way to defeat fascism is to reduce the number of people who support fascism.

There are only two ways to do that. The peaceful way and the nonpeaceful way.

We need to stop otherizing conservatives and instead do everything we can to return to a shared reality. I've done it, and so can you.

He's waiting for anything resembling nonpeaceful assembly so he can justify using the military.
April 28, 2025 at 5:06 AM
no matter what anyone does they will say its a violent mob. They do not need an excuse to crack down. We need to stop this distinction between “peaceful and nonpeaceful” protesters because all it does is divide solidarity
April 25, 2025 at 8:38 PM
It's easy to tell people that being peaceful is ineffective when you're too lazy to even do that. If you don't have the guts to do what you're advocating for then shut it.

(I'm not advocating for nonpeaceful protests. Violence hurts causes.)
April 19, 2025 at 8:02 PM
No one is saying you can’t protest peacefully. I’m saying this rhetoric around peaceful vs nonpeaceful is counterinsurgent, and harmful to protest movements and direct action efforts.
