Apologies for bad joke on Dietrich theme. Der Blaue Engel (The Blue Angel) in 1930 was the first of their collaborations, a joint Paramount-UFA production. 7 Hollywood productions followed. Angel is intense, brutal--German! The others are more glamorous. All amazing.
