It was just somebody's weird millennial metairony, so no worries in that regard.
I don't think I personally know anybody who is an actual "fan" of the USSR. It's thankfully rare in Finland apart from some 60+ year old communists who bought the Soviet propaganda, back when public criticism of 1/

Yeah, that happened to me too. I seem to profess my own serious opinions and morals in a way where I am also mocking them for their absurdity. I had a friend who said this sense of humor was "hyperreal". I have also heard "metairony" used to describe it.
