I seriously do not know how people live where the weather is crappy - especially if you know you have sad & especially when you can move. Living where it's sunny completely changes your life! Drop $$ on luminette glasses & stock up on Vitamin D. Get a sun lamp, too.

And the experts say to get outside and walk in the early morning sunshine, but it can be hard to get motivated to do that when you're SAD. Good luck. FYI, Luminette 3 light therapy

I have the Luminette 3 glasses and like them; other SAD lamps you have to sit so close for so long I'd never use them but having it be in glasses form let me walk around so I used them more often.

And it’s very simple and easy to do. You don’t even have to think about it. Just put the Luminette on your face as soon as you wake up and run either the 1h, 40m, or 20m cycle and your body will do the rest (the 1h is most effective in my experience).

Also if you’re not sure about it, if you buy it direct from Luminette they do a 30 day trial with full refund. They’re not exactly cheap but mine paid for itself in the benefits I’ve got from it in no time 😁

Ik moest m even opsnorren, tijdje geleden dat ik hem voor het laatst gebruikte :) Die ik te leen heb is van het merk luminette. Ik geloof dat je er niet te lang mee moet wachten, dus niet pas in de donkere dagen voor kerst beginnen maar ergens in september al. Succes!

Talking of the Luminette, it’s been a little while since I posted an update on it (I know some people are interested in it!)
I’ve had a bit of a bump but not related to the therapy so much as stress and anxiety that recently made it difficult to fall asleep.
The therapy is still working though!

Automation is cool, though.
LIke.. every morning I log my light therapy session to track it over time and create myself a pretty graph to look at, but I do it with a Shortcut that opens up Numbers and inserts the current date and time in the table that feeds the graph.

Today I woke up by alarm, which hasn’t happened for.. a decade maybe? Probably more..
I’m now getting up 2 hours earlier than I did with some consistency 😅

It’s day 15 and last night I went to bed a whole hour earlier.. and fell asleep!
