Side note, real life minecraft analogies are such a greaet parenting aid. Not only can I get my 5yo to slow down near roads by telling him to hit shift and sneak.. but today I got him to walk down the (not particularly) dark hallway by telling him I’d put it in peaceful mode 😆

This year will be a lot about trying not to feel like I’m inherently toxic and that everything I touch is tainted. It’s a biggie, and I’m not entirely sure where it comes from, trauma maybe, rsd probably, but it’s held me back for far too long and I would do well to be without it.
