Ugh, NDT kinda irks me. The only thing worse than a scientist who doesn’t care for philosophy is a scientist who derises philosophy as not useful and philosophers as wasting their time. Especially when the philosophy of physics is right there as a long standing and fruitful field of research.

Since I haven’t streamed in a fair few years now I plugged my stream deck into my mac instead of my gaming PC and my only question is why didn’t I do it earlier 😅

I looked at my Huel bottle precariously balanced on the drainer from across the kitchen, and as I imagined it toppling over it actually did in the precise way I thought it would, which was awesome.. but now I have to live with the crushing reality that I am not *actually* telekinetic.

My lil guy is staying with me tonight and on his way to school this morning he posted himself some candy through my door to eat when he gets home, and I think that’s just the cutestt hing ever ☺️

Wolfram really irritates me. He’s so.. condescending. Interrupts Donald Hoffman part way through illustrating an analogy with “yeah yeah I know I did particle physics as a kid” before going off on his own tangent. I couldn’t handle that for long without an aneurysm.

I was being silly and I told my 5yo to swap his arms and legs (because he wasn’t really listening to me) but he misheard and thought I said cross his legs, to which he replied “no because then they’ll look like an X and pirates will dig them up” 😂

Everything would be so much easier if people understood disability. Not even to understand the specifics of any disability but to understand it’s not a choice and most of our suffering comes from people not realising this.
