remember 2015-2016 when people were paying £50-£60 for galcher lustwerk and levon vincent records on discogs? you could have pressed up a 4 minute overdriven kickdrum, hand stamped it and said some skater from missouri made it or some shit and the hypebeasts lapped it up, heady days

listening to Tusk (the album) by Fleetwood Mac has reasserted to me that in drumming I prefer a much higher drums to cymbals ratio. Less is more as far as cymbals go for my tastes. BANG THAT DRUMTOP BABY! GIMMIE THAT KICKDRUM PUNCH!
