I was six when I first saw this Big Jim's P.A.C.K. toys ad.

I still have never seen the figures or the promo comic on sale in the wild.

This could have been a pretty cool comic series back in the 70s or better yet, a wild, low-budget drive-in grindhouse movie with Jan Michael-Vincent as Big Jim!

I opened up the comments on the fb post to see if the artist was discussed. The first (buried) comment was indeed someone discussing the artist, in this case because he is semi-famous in bio art. But the original poster replies thanking them and saying they tried to find the artist and couldn't.
