The internet can be weird but I think by and large folks needn’t fear being honest about their projects. My understanding’s that Barone’s been pretty open about his partner’s contributions during the development during Stardew Valley. And I do think it’s fair to call them that!
Yeah, i feel that this discourse tackle the problem from the wrong end and will just end up pushing solodevs further and further into isolation by fear of being accused of stealing when we really should be pushing for a better, more open form of crediting that acknowledges everyone's contribution.

ChatGPT is trained on garbage text from the internet. This is 100% solvable with proper training.

But that costs money, and Silicon Valley won't do it.
Uh… check out what ChatGPT allegedly told a man before he killed his mother and then himself.

Each and everyone of us is a product of the internet!
The internet is a product of us!
It has grown with us and nourished within our generation,
And as it stands now, I will not let it be taken control of by some power hungry motherfuckers!

I said stupidity had always been there and the internet just made that more obvious.

You said it was all physics.

There isn't anything contrarian, your point just doesn't make sense.

Amazing to think that it’s 2025 and 100 years ago in 1925 the world was so much different. I bet they only had cable television and dial up internet. What was life like back then? No way of knowing as Twitter wouldn’t be invented until like 10 years later
