Absolutely. It’s not the ideas, but misuse of. The passage I referenced, they’re using a Soletta to increase the insolation at Mars, but it gets reconfigured and used as a cutting tool - focusing sunlight to cut huge gouges in the Martian surface

Yeah, we built in geographic limits on changing the tilt angle and the resulting terrestrial insolation losses. It’s certainly not whole earth coverage, nor full hemisphere, but continent spanning.

The PHATer the fursuiter you have, the better shape you need to be in. Not only does a thiccer suit mean more weight, but it also means more insolation. All this adds up to a NEED for a better way of cooling off the body, and a body fit enough to handle that.

Solar insolation can add +15f gain to a skin depending upon solar intensity (atmospheric conditions) and latitude. Metabolic acclimatization and activity also contribute to the 'real feel'. In winter, i routinely am short sleeves working at 40f ambient if sunny, clear, windless.

But also Berlin is like 52N, NYC is 40N. Way way more solar potential, not considering clouds. winterime decrease in insolation isn't as severe here either.

How long does it take for a climate signal to make it to the sediment at the bottom of the ocean? That is far from an easy question to answer. This team tried to match basinal weathering proxies with data from the margins and got ~3-5 Kyr. 🧪⚒️

I can admit that for the first time, we maybe just didn't put enough insolation and it's my fault, but the second time it broke was 2 weeks after!!!! I'm not going to check if the workers put the thing back on properly every day, they need to pay more attention to that

Yeah, that is faulty logic. Solar insolation in early December is negligible. Warm ground can hinder snowfall totals early in the season, especially if snow is light and air temperatures above freezing, but this mechanism is separate from solar insolation.

I haven't finished, but I searched the article for "photosynthesis" and "plants" and got nothing.

I have yet to see estimates on how primary productivity and global carbon sequestration would respond reducing insolation. Specifically, how much would shrinking carbon sinks add to CO2e?

( continued) (2) When the insolation was laid in, the 2 guys wouldn't enter it. We shut it , salted it and the dreams I was having stopped. So did the knocking..we have a guy who I know, I don't care because he's a residual. These guys will want it opened. Thoughts?
