As long as I've been been an adult, I've felt nothing but contempt for ads that do anything beyond explain the product. I hate the feeling of being sold something, and I never understood why thats not universal. I guess it makes sense that its a resistance you have to build up.

It felt like 90% of the Super Bowl ads, or any ads really, are weight loss injections or AI and I fucking hate it so much.

Reached that time of year when I get reminded why I hate Valentines day. Nothing like getting served a dozen ads telling me I should do something nice for my partner to remind me that you considered lesser if you don't have someone. You are a sad thing. I will get past it but it is really annoying.

Same, had it for a free trial then stopped cause why. I just hate how payment used to be a way to cover the cost of ads, and now they're double dipping. Fuck that

Yeah, I use YouTube way too much to go and free. Been paying for it for a years now and I wish I didn't have too. Like you said it's unusable without paying though. I don't understand how anyone without premium can stand it. I hate ads more than most, but the site is also miserable to navigate.

As much as I hate how Fandom absolutely overwhelms you with ads if you don't have an adblocker (literally 50% of the screen), it's 1000x better than information death in a discord and it allows *anyone* to make a wiki without overhead. There's some kick ass wikis on there.
