"Do you know anyone quite as malevolent? At your place of work? On your campus? A colleague? A teacher? Much less someone whose impulses & furies in no small measure dictate the direction, fate & temper of the country? Have you ever in your life encountered a character as wretched as Donald Trump?"

There’s a way that white folks can be heedless, it’s dangerous. Mindfulness of cause & effect needs to be regarded. The Prophet (May Peace be upon him) warned us against heedlessness in part because our word is powerful. May the Most High guard us against heedlessness. May we be good to one another.

Semi-rails; steering is passive except in flight; drift has am uncanny pivot physics to it; the game overall is a bizarre kitchen sink of ideas and feels almost retro in its heedlessness. They did all the things and dawned the A/B UX testing torpedoes

“Mindfulness supports the moment-to-moment intention to not cause harm, to be kind, and to renounce those thoughts and actions that lead to heedlessness. Without wise intention and wise understanding, mindfulness is aimless, and therefore not the Buddha’s.” — Phillip Moffitt

Long-suffering Ukraine's endless sacrifice is a chance in a lifetime for sadly complacent Europe to finally rid itself of the perniciously-evil empire and move on to greater matters.
Brave, heroic Ukraine's sacrifice should not be squandered.
Ukrainians are paying a huge cost for our heedlessness.

To destroy $225k for spectacle is clear heedlessness. The blessing was abandoned. True wealth is found in gratitude & giving, not in such vanity & waste.

The one who gets up at dawn is protected from the attacks of heedlessness throughout the day. Fighting sleep is the real jihad, because the one who can sacrifice in the morning at the command of Allah can defeat Satan for the rest of the day.

People VOTED for Trump by the millions.

THAT is THE problem, and it has become impossible to imagine a political strategy that compensates for the staggering bigotry, cruelty, irrationality, stupidity and heedlessness of the American electorate.

The disbeliever must make tawbah from their disbelief; the disobedient believer must take tawbah from their disobedience and the heedless one must take tawbah from their heedlessness. Beyond that there are more subtle levels of tawbah.

Waking up for worship is not a coincidence, but a blessing from God, and the absence of desire for obedience is a sign of a heedless heart.

O God, make our hearts among those who are awake for good, fill them with Your love, and protect them from heedlessness and distance from You. Amen.

Perhaps We Don't Emerge

Perhaps we don't emerge,
Perhaps those who thought they emerged,

Light Is Not Explained

He who does not see is not to blame
The testimony of a monotheist in the age of heedlessness

I write what is not read,
