What I'm wearing to the Bluesky Christmas party:
The selfish evil sister from Morozko (1964) my all time favorite Christmas movie of which I have two copies on DVD in case I lose one, which has happened in years past. Basically, the image is a young woman in historic Russian festive dress with layers of bead necklaces, an orange and red headdress, and a thick yellow braid. Her face is painted white with brown freckles added, red circles the size of tangerines on her cheeks, and her eyebrows are black half circles (thicker than crescents). She is the lesser villain of the story and her comeuppance is gloriously over the top. Then again, the whole movie is gloriously over the top.
