This book is beautiful, lyrical & rather melancholy, enjoyed isn't quite the right word for it but I really did. Poetry can kill & a book can be a heavy burden to bear, and yet might save your life as effectively as the right clothing. 5🌟 Books 2 & 3 on my #TBR now! #Iceland #FictionInTranslation 💙📚

Very interesting fact from the 'Lost In Translation' panel at #GraniteNoir: @teresasolanawriter.bsky.social revealed #FictionInTranslation in the UK is just 3% of books, but elsewhere in Europe 70% 😲 @jackycnoir64.bsky.social affirmed the importance of experiencing other cultures thru our reading 💙📚
