#facebuilder
Just starting to explore a workflow where I convert a 2D face image to 3D with Facebuilder, then import that into Metahuman, then use retexture/controlnet.

1. Model character with charmorph
2. Get skin texture and shaders working
3. Test if a combination of flux imagegen and facebuilder works as expected
4. Use xmap to get bump maps? I dunno

No, I simply refuse to use any AI tools. I would use Keen Tools Facebuilder and Blender. Making an Elon head with his complete range of facial expressions will take just minutes. And, in this case, the janky quality would be half the point. Everyone else, however, would be played by genuine thesps.

Yup, I can see the images on the texture now.

I have heard from a GB tutorial that Facebuilder isn't the best at this stuff, but your work is proving that wrong I think. A technique I used for my Jerma model is base the head model from one video and make the texture from another and apply it there.

this is a long shot, but does anyone within earshot of this skeet know of a relatively low-effort way of creating a #3D model of my friend's head from existing photos i have of him?

i'm looking at #FaceBuilder for #Blender but if there's a better way i'd love to hear it.
