#edgework
For sure! Crust it up, add a wrinkled overlay and some scuffed up edgework and I could see this as the cover for "Absolum" for the NeoGeo (1991). ^_^

New article 🎸 “Value Rationality in Collective Edgework Experiences: The Making of Chinese Democracy (1994–2008)” by Myles Balfe is now out in Sociology Lens.
A fresh sociological look at how a legendary rock band pushed creativity to its limits.

Stained the hoop and could not be happier with how it turned out (after a couple days of curing).

I have a tiny bit more beading and edgework along the bottom to complete and then this piece will be on its way to my client!

The paper shows how Guns N’ Roses turned the chaotic, 14-year making of Chinese Democracy into a form of collective edgework—managing risk, control, breakdown and reinvention while trying to rebuild one of rock’s biggest names.

This radiant wheel of curving arcs is an old motif known as a "rolling sun," which Wings has used in the past, mostly on rings. Here, he's adapted it for earrings, with the radiant points as edgework and fiery carnelians cabochons at the center, giving rise to the pair's name.

These are one of the most recent pairs in Wings's ongoing but very intermittent and informal series of small concha earrings. They're not identical in terms of stampwork of choice of stones, but share commonalities in size/pattern, radiant with some edgework around a focal stone.

Currently working with a PhD researcher who is studying and researching graffiti writing. Do any colleagues have recommendations for forthcoming conferences in UK / Europe that might be well suited for them to present at? Crim / psyhc / autoethnography / edgework / "addiction"

Some edgework exploration. Been wanting to try that double spike glide at the beginning for awhile now. It fits right in ☺️

Also, shout out to whoever posted this sing the other day. Forgot how much I love it!

"If brooding were a weapon, you’d finally be dangerous."

Misery makes for poor edgework.

These are classic ovals, and the stampwork is exquisite. They're edged in nested slender crescents textured with scale-like points, and the design gives them a sense of orbital motion. Inside the space between that edgework and the focal cabochon, radiant sunrise motifs face inward.

If you've been pole dancing in heels for some time, maybe you should also dive into edgework choreos! This style is sooo exciting!

My instructor and I decided to dive into edgework. 4h in the studio in total and learning an online heels choreo is hard but I've found a heels style I admire! Will do another edgework choreo tomorrow (at 9am 🤣😆) 😍
