I genuinely have to wonder what goes on behind the scenes sometimes. Part of me wonders if it never continued because of Ken Penders owning some of the Echida characters and concepts, or if it was simply the Sonic franchise changing directions at the time

FINITEVUS WAS YOU??? NO WAYYY as a kid I was always very lukewarm on the Echida designs (Julie-Su grew on me tho) but I thought he was so cool, the white and yellow with black sclera goes so hard...I definitely mispronounced his name as "finitevius" the entire time though 😅
