Mi primer DQ (como casi el de todo fan de España) fue DQ8 y a partir de ahí fuí jugando a toda la saga (salvo el 10 por razones obvias 😅)
DQ11 fue una experiencia potentísima que me llegó mucho y me hizo muy feliz por motivos spoilery. Lo adoro 😍

dragon quest não tava nem na minha mente quando eu pensava em "franquias pra jogar". não que eu não quisesse jogar, eu sempre pensei "alguma hora eu jogarei" mas ai apareceu um video no yt de um cara fazendo dq8 fist only e eu achei extremamente daora e bateu a vontade de jogar dragon quest

I don't play demos that often, but I played this one. It'd good, and did everything it needed to do. I'm impressed at how clean and capable it plays on the PS5. The game looks gorgeous and flows very smoothly. Maaaaan, I want DQ8 remake now.

I beat 11 on ps5 but not 11S, I might need to revisit it! ^_^
A DQ8 remaster would be a dream. The 3DS version did add a LOT of gameplay that I hope they’d preserve carrying it over to another generation. I played the PS2 and the 3DS versions and I’d be ecstatic for more folks to experience it.

i am eagerly awaiting a dq8 remaster. I've watched it being played and adored it. i even used the dq8 field music when i played 11S cause i liked it so much more than the default

Was talking Dragon Quest on discord and to my surprise, DQ8 on the PS2 is surprisingly affordable on ebay. So, uh, I bought a copy for 20 bucks.

Rogue Galaxy is my PS2 WhiteWale. It came out in the US about 1 yr before DQ8, I was a Jak&Daxter type platformer kid. Soon after playing & falling in love with DQ8 I discovered RG but wasnt ever able to buy it until it long faded from my memory only to rediscover yrs later but no with no PS2 lol

Played some of the Dragon Quest 7 demo this morning and man, something about Dragon Quest hits different than other JRPGs for me. I like that they went the route of capturing the art direction of the original character art. Hoping this will lead to a DQ8 remake.

If you enjoyed FF7 I highly recommend checking out Dragon Quest VIII
FF7 will always hold a special place in my heart but I think DQ8 is as good or better in a whole lot of ways
