2/2 The font was Franklin Gothic, and we distracted #DonatoGiancola so I could integrate some star images from the original cover art, into his painting. The cover artist for starship troopers first edition, interesting trivia, was #JerryRobinson, the creator of #Robin and the #Joker.

Vermont-born artist #DonatoGiancola (b.1967) is probably best known for his science fiction and fantasy illustrations for #MagicTheCollectibleCardGame. Majoring in electrical engineering, he transfered to #SyracuseUniversity to pursue a BFA in the arts. He lives in Brooklyn.
