Obviously this is one huge cringe-fest anyways but don’t you think part of the point on Stonewall is for LGBT+ people to just be an accepted and regular part of everyday life?
I know a fair few lgbt+ folk and none of them has ever said to me that they came out ‘for the counterculture maaaaaaannnn!’

It annoys me when nominal support for LGBT rights is used instrumentally to push for clout or unrelated goals. But I *really* hate it when it’s treated as basically a cringe bourgeois affectation, whether it be the right, left, or center that’s pulling out that old canard.

Official accounts being "fandom cringe" feels just like corp tactics to mimic the way avg fans behave around their fav shows. Kinda like seeing a vast majority of corps & brands "supporting" LGBT+ during Pride Month. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I swear, some chronically online gay people act like being gay is the only thing someone could have to come out about. It can't ever be neurodivergence, or a religious belief or lack thereof, or a cringe hobby. Frozen and Encanto mean more to me as autism allegory films than as LGBT allegory films.
