With a length of 239 feet and a 2,100 hp steam engine built by Rankin and Blackmore of Greenock turning two lateral paddles (one of which can be seen in the foreground), she's capable of travelling at up to 18 knots.

Since 2017 a contract for a series of Type 26 Frigates at the Govan yard has kept thousands of workers busy. In my drawings I’ve been able to capture an incredible change in Clydebuilt shipbuilding which I’ll describe in my talk online tonight Wednesday 12th Nov 6pm. @scottishgallery

The Titan Crane was built in 1920 to lift the completed engines into ships berthed alongside the engineering works on the Clyde.
