Got to see my favorite female pick a mate!! Afterwards she went straight to the fish food. Lucky male pictured on my hand. A few minutes later she was back to... advertising? Two males were going crazy over that but she ignored them.

So night before last I noticed the first babies from my Blaberus! Yesterday I was able to hold one just long enough for one photo before it yeeted itself back to the leaves.

some adult Blaberus discoidalis appeared! nothing too fancy, but I find them very charming. I thought mine had all died without breeding but a handful of nymphs had hidden amongst the dubia colony

pior que povo odeia as baratas achando que todas são sebosas iguais as baratas-americanas, sendo que tem as incríveis Blaberus spp, as Panchlora spp, as baratas-de-jardim, que são limpinhas e só acha no mato, raramente em lugares urbanos pq elas não querem se contaminar com a sujeira dos humanos kk

南米のBlaberus属を中心に扱うゴキブリ屋をやってた時も、本職としてコオロギ屋をやってる今も、目立つ情報を発信すると確実に変な乙食が湧くのでリプもDMも閉じた。

Giant cave cockroach, Blaberus giganteus. longest roach in the hobby! though not the heaviest or thickest, I believe that crown goes to wide-horn hissers.
