#askamortician
I hope this article sparks a wider conversation about death rights and families getting educated on how to protect their loved ones

I’m sure Caitlyn Doughty has a lot to ask about this (or will publish something soon)

(she’s a mortician, educator, and author, AskAMortician on YouTube)

Serious recommendation time for anyone feeling some kind of way about the Internal Affairs/National Library memorial service. Caitlin Doughty's Ask a Mortician YouTube channel provides a really accessible and informative look into death and funerary practices www.youtube.com/@AskAMortician

if youre into horror i recommend anything by eric larocca, particularly his book things have gotten worse since we last spoke. dune is also a favorite, and for nonfiction, i recommend anything by anthony bourdain or caitlin doughty (askamortician on youtube)!

If you dig through Caitlin Doughty's YouTube channel there is a lot of backstory of the traditional funeral industry. She also has videos on a lot of alternative burial practices (including human composting and aquamation). www.youtube.com/@AskAMortician

I should note it is disturbingly easy to pick most locks and I have a love of @LockPickingLawyer that runs nearly as deep as that for @AskAMortician. Sometimes YouTube is both educational and excellent fun. 😃
