Fair fair, still. Funny enough this one job that I was close to being accepted still has some positions open, even opening an inventory clerk position. Figured I may as well send my apps to that again and see if I can convince them this time.

Welp, after taking a closer look at the #grapheneos documentation, I see that there are known issues possible for banking apps. My problem may have more to do with that fact than Cloudflare itself.

As a parent / educator / game designer, it's so PAINFUL & UPSETTING to see my own kids have their expectations & instincts about learning be narrowly trained by superficial, gamification-powered edutainment apps -- required by their schools -- that are supposed to prep them for standardized testing.

Leave it to "social" apps to engineer everyone to post the most useless & annoying slop in the effort to drive engagement, then to create "mute" & "block" buttons so that *friends" turn into bitter & ignored ghost ships, leaving everyone to wonder why they only see boring corporate ads all the time.

Realizing my constant need for reassurance and validation might be a serious problem and I'm not entirely sure what to do about it, so I'm going to try disengaging more from the fomo apps and see if that helps ehe. Will probably be most accessible via Discord DMs if you want to chat

it could be cool if they don't use the social image and instead do a richer more accessible expansion but I would expect they will call our APIs in that case. I don't see how new apps would compete on a fair ground if they have to ask discord to do an appview for their records

Yep, this ex software engineer also wonders why the state can't build some of the digital infra needed for this. Would love to see some generic white label platforms built out at cost for use by worker collectives, integrated into public transport apps etc #PostCapitalism

Idk I kind of liked trying to hang on to my way faster friend and our group of 7-8 would thin out with each lap of the park… I even liked early runner apps where I could see their training… I think we’re build for “try to be the fastest lad of the pub/park/village”. That breaks down w influencers..

Very interesting that we're starting to see "Login with ChatGPT" appear in some apps, allowing you to use your ChatGPT, bringing it's memory with it in the background to power the app, while keeping it private.
