At the recent New York Comic Con (NYCC, held October 9-12, 2025), attendees saw more than just video games and CCGs; Rubik’s WowCube brought true 3-dimensional gaming to the Exhibit Floor. The WowCube is a 2x2x2 cube that twists in a similar fashion to a traditional 3x3x3 cube, and has a total of 24 miniature LCD screens covering every surface.

Компании Spin Master и Cubios создали инновационную игрушку WOWCube, которая стала новым цифровым этапом классического кубика Рубика. В формате 2×2 вместо привычных цветных квадратов установлены 24 небольших LCD-дисплея. Проект впервые был представлен в 2016 году и теперь официально доступен для предзаказа. Самое интересное в WOWCube — это то, что его можно не только крутить, но и запускать на нем различные игры, например Cut the Rope, 2048 и классический Space Invaders. Куб реагирует на наклоны и встряхивания с помощью встроенных датчиков — эти функции также используются в игровом процессе. Через магазин приложений WOWCube можно скачивать новые игры и функции.
