Opening night kicked off with actress Renee Zellweger wearing her filmmaker hat, bringing her animated, hand-drawn short film, They, a passion project about the state of the world today. Opening night also featured director Richard Linklater’s outstanding, based on a true story, Blue Moon, starring Ethan Hawke as lyricist Lorenz Hart, a drunkard intellectual who is jealous of his former musical collaborator Richard Rogers (Andrew Scott), as they celebrate in a bar the opening night of his hit musical Oklahoma.
