Tonight, it was "Whose Lineage is it Anyway", improvisational Shakespeare by Vancouver's Spontaneous Shakespeare Company on the last day of the Vancouver Fringe Festival. #theatre #improv #TheatreYVR #YVRArts #VancouverFringe

My last show of this Fringe! The Naked Mennonite was the coming of age story of a soon to be former Mennonite in suburban Manitoba. Also, a burlesque! Great show, get your tickets now - tonight was sold out but tomorrow has lots left. #VancouverFringe #KeepOnFringing

Fourth Avenue (Brooklyn); one man turns his hatred for developers into fraud and maybe murder? It was kind of intriguing but also had a very abrupt ending.

Shakespeare Sings! A lecture on the timelessness of Shakespeare (I promise it's more interesting than that sounds), brought out through dramatic performance and relevant original music! There are three tickets left for their last performance, go get them!

Softie is a eulogy for spontaneous erections, surrounded by a lot of runtime padding which… kind of worked?

The toilets are locked early, the food vendors except the most expensive and most time consuming ones all close at 6pm, there are no water refill stations outside of the locked buildings, and the secure bike parking closes at 7. #VancouverFringe brings so many people here and this is what they get.

Honestly, I'm kind of annoyed by the #VancouverFringe decision to go Granville Island-exclusive last year. I get that they're a big sponsor but they've done virtually nothing to deserve the privilege of hosting this festival.

Emil Amok: 69---in Vancouver was an hour long rant about US politics, peppered with often quite touching personal and family stories, which probably should have been the main focus instead.

Last show for today was jem rolls: ADVENTURES IN CANADIAN PARKING LOTS, which was very little parking lot and a lot of poetry, which frankly is better.

A last minute cancellation led me to book a last minute ticket for Brunch; this year's entry from the comedy duo was, loosely, the future? Hilarious as always! #VancouverFringe #KeepOnFringing

1-800-SEX-WYZE was *amazing*. A musical about a sex help line worker living with anxiety. I'd love to see a full Broadway version tbh.

Kicked of the Vancouver Fringe Festival with a total banger. Accidentally Heterosexual is a one person comedy show by and about being a trans woman in love with a trans man, and so much more! Hilarious, heartwarming, get a ticket if you still can! #FringeVancouver #VancouverFringe #KeepOnFringing
