watching the Interloper ARG makes me feel like a caveman like okay, sure, I can buy a lot of this weird sci-fi mumbo jumbo, but the moment you start talking about vrad or bsp or demo data my brain starts to fog over. I mean this in a very positive way but omg I feel so so so dumb.

Annoyed at how much experimentation it took, how many entities it eats, (ideally the number would be 1 + the actual VRAD lights) and that in order for it to not be global I would need to add a bunch of duplicate skins to the fixture, but I finally have arbitrary colored light fixtures that animate.

given how it works (VRad) it is very lowres in order to work nicely on medium spec 2004 computers. Some time ago when I managed to import Source engine maps to Blender, the one thing I always loved was how it adapted to Blenders lighting engines (cont)
