I'm currently using solomine on my node using BTC Knox with Umbrelos and experimenting with Public Pool.io. I would like to customize some settings, such as: Coinbase Tag: I want to set a custom coinbase tag for my mining rewards. Work/Job Update Time: I’d like to adjust how frequently the pool updates work/jobs. Other Customization: Are there additional settings I can tweak to optimize my setup?

Decided against umbrelOS and for a second @coolify.io instance. umbrel looks cool but it's like using MacOS vs Ubuntu Server with an outdated app store. Case closed.
Hard to beat #Coolify even for #homelab stuff.
But if you're not into terminal / docker / ssh stuff, then umbrelOS might be perfect.

It was called Pi-Hole because it was developed to run on Raspberry Pi computers, but if you don't have one or don't want to buy one, you can run it on any fairly decent old PC or laptop on UmbrelOS. Either natively (install UmbrelOS on the machine directly) or in a free VMWare virtual machine.

Been playing around with casaos, proxmox and umbrelos and so far I like them all except the fact that umbrelos seems to connect to tor even though I disabled tor connections via the dashboard. Random incoming connections via tor to it from Germany, etc. Ended up bringing it down. #docker #it

You will need a external USB-C SSD as well, that plugs to your Pi. I went with the Samsung 2TB external drive. You need enough space to download the entire blockchain on to your SSD. So, the bigger the better. As well, I had to buy a memory card to install the UmbrelOS to.
