Railway のシンガポールリージョンだとOAuthが失敗する(レスポンスがくそ遅すぎる)という問題があったのでUSWestに変更したのだ。ちょっと詳細な原因は特定できなかったけど解決はした

I'm a historical USWest->Qwest hater, ever since they charged me $170 years ago to tell me they couldn't install DSL at my location. 1G Cox (consumer, not business) has been mostly okay.. however it took getting the FCC involved for them to get my connection stable.

For an actual explanation: I was always fascinated with dragons even as a very young kid.
RP'd as one in bnet 1.0 uswest.
Then I discovered otherkin and went 'Oh, that's kinda neat. Not really me, though.'
and THEN I discovered furry.
..and a few years later, found out my sister's a furry too.

It would have been nice if it had been user-available for getting cops to do something about the (now thankfully mostly extinct) obscene callers. Cops wanted the victim to get a call list; USWest said they didn’t keep them and told customers to pound sand, and judges wouldn’t issue warrants.

Technically they’re separate, but this is an artifact of the RBOC breakup, USWest and Qwest coming together to combine consumer and fiber companies, and now divesting it all to whatever BU may stand to make a half percentage more in annual growth and the rest can be subsidized independently.
