Speaking of influencer, none had the influence quality like TotalBiscuit. Whole games and studios succeeded because he recognized their quality and effectively reached those exact people who would enjoy it.

Also as I said in a deleted post: Totalbiscuit would be all over this thing right now. I remember he covered steam machines with some confusion and honestly I think he'd be really happy that Valve finally stepped up.

Finished the video, and no price which is slightly sad buuut also understandable.
Steam Machine looks awesome and seems like a good contained solution for those wanting to enter PC Gaming but get something better than the deck.
Steam Controller looks kinda clunky but we'll have to see.

Still watching but the steam machine itself seems great so far. Assuming pricing isn't god awful, this'll be a good machine for most people I think.

Players will either start the game right away or look at the settings - and the group who goes for settings will be the more critical bunch, so good idea to make it as good as possible.

I think it's unfair that we have to deal with people like Dick Cheney and Kissinger until they die of old age but people like Grant Imahara, Robin Williams, and Totalbiscuit are taken from us way too soon.

I miss TotalBiscuit :(
I know why this is not possible due to both the realities of the business and the impossibility of time, but I really do wish there were more career game critics out there that you rush to when a new game drops to hear their take.
