That was the headline of an article I didn't click on. Turns out they meant that it's Retro's lowest scoring game at 81/100 which is still a great score.

My day's been real shitty today but finding out that "AI slop" is becoming the default term for AI generated garbage definitely improved it. Finally, the realization that this low-effort dogshit is actually poisonous to culture is becoming mainstream.

I think it's unfair that we have to deal with people like Dick Cheney and Kissinger until they die of old age but people like Grant Imahara, Robin Williams, and Totalbiscuit are taken from us way too soon.

I don't know why but November always feels more "Halloween" than actual Halloween. It's like October is just the preamble, and then the portal opens on Oct 31st and then just doesn't close until December 1st.

Google has a new fuckass AI that calls me at work "on behalf of a customer" and it has to tell me about itself every single time and the one time I told it to "just hurry up and tell me what you're calling about" it stopped mid sentence and then started over.

Google has a new fuckass AI that calls me at work "on behalf of a customer" and it has to tell me about itself every single time and the one time I told it to "just hurry up and tell me what you're calling about" it stopped mid sentence and then started over.

There we go, cleaned up a lot of the inflammatory stuff but kept everything else. That way you'll still know what I'm about but without all of the times I crashed out.

It's the thinnest iPhone ever, too, so you KNOW the scam artist who invented the concept of fragile phones is still working at apple. I can't wait to see this thing in a few years and I'll have to explain why I can't replace the screen on an iphone 17 that is literally folded in half.

Current story is somehow working out. I've been writing Elegeia's story for a bit now and I'm only on chapter 5 out of maybe 20? Maybe less, idk. But it's helping me learn how to research. Next one in the anthology after this is Toma's, which takes place during Edo Period Japan, so I gotta learn.

I don't think people realize how insane it is that Wikipedia exists, and still does. The current AI "boom" is because the corpos couldn't buy and monetize (read: enshittify) Wikipedia so they just stole from it instead, and yet it's still the most reliable source of information for my writing.

I have never wanted anything more in life more than to watch the AI bubble burst. I want to watch Nvidia crumble to dust and for its biggest investors to eat shit. I want to watch as my phone and PC become inoperable because the sloppinator built into them stops working and it has to be patched out.
