Tolethorpe looking really pretty, decked out with garden lights. Another great stage set, and enjoyed the performance of Macbeth tonight.
If you've never tried a summer night at the Stamford Shakespeare Company, it's a great experience. Arrive a little early and picnic in the garden!

An amazing win for England at Headingley which I was able to share with my old friend Andy Bullimore. Between us we have 100+ years playing for Tolethorpe Park CC. The 2nd pic is the Tolethorpe team from the 1983 Burghley 6s Andy top right, I'm bottom left. No change at all 😆

That's "Cricket Week": traditionally a day game (e.g. Burghley Park v Leicester Gents) followed by a couple of games in the "Sixes", culminating with the final on the Friday evening. Draws big crowds and the beer tent does huge business. Furthest I got was semi finals in 1983 with Tolethorpe Park.
