A few pics from a walk in the woods on Saturday. The Speckled Wood butterfly had died and was on the track. I moved it to the side so it didn't get trampled underfoot.

Took an afternoon walk at Burghley today - found this bumblebee struggling on the path so I carried it for a while to keep it out of harm's way. As we didn't have any sugar water I took it to a few flowers to let it feed. Left it on a patch of clover in the end. Hope it's ok!

What could be better than getting out for a walk in the woods in weather like this? Albeit with a stout staff to help me hobble along as I put my back out two weeks before! Still, this will heal. There are others who can't enjoy this experience, so I'm not going to complain! #countyourblessings

Met up with my three sisters and one of my brothers along with their families on Easter Sunday. We went off to the woods to scatter Mum & Dad's ashes. Was great to catch up with family, and now we have a lovely place to visit to remember my parents 🥲

A perfect English village on a perfect spring day! Took a walk by the Nene and followed it to Water Newton. On the last pic, that black blob in the middle is a seal! There were two of them playing the white water from the mill😍

I've noticed something good about Bluesky immediately, and it's sooo much better than Instagram! Insta crops your photos drastically, whereas Bluesky includes the whole thing. This makes me very happy☺️
