Thunderhawk looks great and feels solid. The spring loaded features are good, but the disc launcher barely fires (safety). These come with stickers, which I consider a chore, but I’m sure some will love. Matt cannot reach the steering wheel, btw.

Spectrum Next #Delphian progress: coded up the clipped circle draw code in C++ over lunch, so coded up the Z80 version this evening. Good news is it's working, and it's fast!😀 So if I code up dithered "transparent" versions (like Amiga Thunderhawk), I could use it for smoke and other effects...🤔

I kinda feel like the Thunderhawk with the huge cannon operates like the A-10 Thunderbolt II in that firing its main weapon decreased its airspeed. I wonder if the turbo-laser would do the same? 😅

I swear I tried to do all the part at the same pace but I got carried away by the black wings, really wanted to experiment a black with blueish reflect !

Anyhow I'm verrrrry confused by Ben's review set coming with stickers attached, when an earlier production unboxing of some of the other sets had unapplied stickers. Does Thunderhawk alone have applied stickers? Or did they just pre-apply stickers for the review copy?

Xiphon are 100% Astartes like Fireraptor, Stormeagle and Thunderhawk.
Starter set is really nice if you use both sides, battlegroup is better when focused on 1 faction. Kratos are very nice for Astartes.
