Oh, we're definitely getting a remaster at this point. The levels & Werehog in Crossworlds, the various references in Tailstube and now this? This is the Unleashed Renaissance! Hopefully the remaster is handled better than Colors Ultimate. AND PLEASE KEEP THE ORIGINAL VOICE ACTING! #Sonic #SEGA

Like I enjoy watching Tailstube, but I also know that anything in it could be hand-waved because part of the team wasn't told shit. I mean we still have Japan having its own soft continuity with small details like Sonic being the only one to remember '06 and Tangle/Sticks not being mentioned.

I mean, we've had flip flopping but as of late sega has seeking to be making a point of nailing down a concrete canon and timeline for everything with an official timeline page, the comics clarifying some stuff, and things like tailstube acting as official world building vids.

SEGA themselves have leaned on this "everything is canon" phrase for a fair bit, even having tailstube confirm that in-universe the multiverse is a thing & boom and fan works are likely part of it. But it's the dripfeed that's frustrating.

I wouldn't rule out the Tailstube but considering it took one Bumblekast for Sonic Labyrinth to be recanonized and SEGA themselves suggested Barnes revive Mecha Sonic MK II for Scrapnik after turning down Flynn's pitches iirc, it just feels like Classic is whatever they're feeling like that week.

AiAi is already basically confirmed to be coming i think, his banana car was shown in one of the TailsTube episodes next to NiGHTS extreme gear (and theyre confirmed now because theyre on the back of the box). also gods please no console exclusives again i wanna move past that forever :C
