The funniest possible outcome for the signgate fiasco would be if the proceedings somehow wound up in real court and NCAA was forced to reveal who the “investigative firm” was. (I mean, we all know who it was, but it would hilarious to be able to publicly mock everyone involved.)

I’ve been staring at PED cases for decades now (even got to interview an ex-USADA guy once), and the general takeaway is “it’s often dumb, or sad, and sometimes unjust”. I don’t get people trying to be savvier-than-thou about it. Same for signgate or whatever. Get the jokes off, or pipe down.
