Carnegie 2025! Pupils enjoyed a day of literary fun hosted by CVC in the library including a workshop by author Julian Sedgwick. Shadower Book Groups from CVC, Cambourne & St Peter’s joined together to celebrate the winner’s announcement of the Carnegie Children’s Fiction Prize.

I love that the Carnegie do this. I will forever treasure the memories of being 15 and *super* into books and being taken seriously for that by cool adults like Anne Fine and Melvyn Burgess as a shadower with my school. A brilliant, brilliant scheme.

Making a Shadower in Maplestory not because I terribly enjoy Thief class gameplay but because I need 2 billion mesos before the event ends and that passive buff to meso gain is just too damn good to not use
