I think a lot of people on here, cis and trans alike, are attracted to politics because they want all the fun of religious fundamentalism’s“be as cruel as you want because the righteousness your cause definitionally sanctifies any excesses” without having to nominally answer to a higher power.

1 Corinthians 7:13 and 14 states the believing spouse sanctifies the nonbeliever. If he divorces her, he initiates adultery. He can blame her all he wants, but biblically, that’s on him, not her.
