Paying more for groceries and getting less. Shrinkflation is getting ridiculous. Pretty soon all we’ll be buying are empty bags, boxes and cans.

Wait until shrinkflation sets in
we wouldn't need a new year if they didn't keep making them shittier and shittier all the time

The problem I always face when wanting to do personal art is the amount of things I wanna do at a time...

Like, I wanna draw a trio picture with one person in the middle of turning into a berry, duo diaper smush pic, shrinkflation piece... I JUST NEED ONE TO DO!!

Looking at the Xmas selection of candies this year deepens my suspicion that we're seeing a version of "shrinkflation" specific to cacao products...much rebranding of things that used to be chocolate to mere "chocolatey," then there's Lindt's "fusion experiences" where half the bar is a lower cacao%

Unfortunately, shrinkflation hadn't progressed quite that far yet

You know, back in the 90s,corporations were instituting what became popularly known as "shrinkflation"; it aint a new tactic by them. The pices were the same, but weights, ounces, volumes were smaller. I have yet to see the corporations produce actual numbers to support these spurious arguments.

Yes, that was me at the grocery store, asking one of the clerks if they would like to text me when the truck comes in since I enjoyed self check out so much? Between shrinkflation & self check out the corporations must be doing very well.

Alt: a woman in a pink jacket says " can i speak to the manager ? " I’m tired of corporations thinking we’re too stupid to notice shrink-flation & adding customers as free labor by making self checkout the only option. Yes, #Lowe’s hardware and foods I’m talking about you!

A 1st world problems. Disappointed with Terry's choccy orange.
The segments now have a pronounced concave side, rendering them thinner and much less satisfying and
not very chocolatey.

Don't get me started on Curley Wurleys.

This is NOT the chocolate you're looking for.

Took the family to Red Robin tonight and it was the perfect example of shrinkflation. Smaller burgers, smaller desserts, and I’m sure they would have given us smaller drink sizes if they already didn’t have the glasses. You know it’s bad when your kids even notice it.
