#Radiometric
Well, it might be worth your consideration...

The first radiometric telemetry of a "black hole" (singularity), was of Messier 87* and was named Pōwehi (roughly translates as Dark Mother). The discovery verified many theories, once labeled as wild speculation. It also inspired quite a few artists.

the authors note a lack of reliable radiometric dating for important triassic fossil sites such as the tanzanian manda beds and the south african cynognathus assemblage zone, adding that the two faunas poorly correlate with each other

Carbon dating probably wouldn't work (for reasons others have explained), but depending on what the ship is made out of, you might be able to use an inorganic radiometric dating approach.

1. Sensor spectral sensitivities are invariably far from those of the retina. We are not "correcting" because we are measuring something which is, by design, different.
2. Colors, being perceptual, are not purely radiometric: You (at least implicitly) need a model to link them to perception. 2/2

OTB team is glad to announce S1Tiling 1.2.0 🚀

Version 1.2 integrates the following main improvements:

- it can produce and apply gamma area maps for radiometric terrain correction,

- it can produce Incidence Angle Maps to the ellipsoid,

- improved quality and processing performances of […]

This is before we get into how radiometric dating isn't a yardstick. It's a yardstick, a balance scale, a ruler, and about a dozen other independent methods of measuring shit. But, people don't understand radiometric dating.

When someone argues that radiometric dating doesn't work for something, point out that you shouldn't use a yardstick to measure the distance between New York & London.

Hell With Benefits

There are benefits to hell being at the center of the Earth. It solves the problem of exponential nuclear decay (radiometric dating is bogus) and it gives us a unified field theory (combining gravitation with electromagnetism).

Radiometric dating suggests formation about 270 million years ago so it’s bloody ancient art.
