Nimm einen alten Topf und stell ihn irgendwohin.
1 mm/qm = 1 Ltr/qm
Miss die Höhe des Wassers im Topf, dort ist auch jeder Milimeter einer der auch auf dem Quadratmeter gefallen ist.
Bei mir (Münchner Westen) sind dieses Jahr meist mehr als 35 Ltr/qm.

The seminal contribution of Warshel and Karplus from 1972 is listed as the first combination of QM (the PPP method) and MM (a classical force field) for "complex systems". A few years ago, I had the pleasure of myself working with the PPP method and reading the extensive literature on the topic.

Das sind 35 mm. Ein Gartenteich in praller Sonne verdunstet 10 cm/Woche. Das sind bei 200 qm 20 Kubikmeter = 20.000 Liter. Da kommt im Mittelmeer schon was zusammen (und wieder runter).

Auch in den kommenden Tagen setzt sich das unbeständige Wetter fort. Besonders viel Regen fällt dabei im Nordseeumfeld und an der Schleswig-Holsteinischen Ostseeküste. Strandurlauber haben aktuell also wenig Glück mit dem Wetter. Aber auch in den anderen Landesteilen ist Regen keine Mangelware.
