I love PC gaming. Always have, probably always will. I will go to my grave making excuses for PC gaming.

I just,

It's time for us to be able to connect a controller with the game already running and have that work.

Wow. Heard they've been downhill but that's disappointing. Those deals were some of my earliest PC gaming memories. Welp, into the dumpster with the rest. Next

I'm trying to clean up my art pc, it used to be for gaming. Having to update every fucking launcher/patcher/whatever just to be able to delete old videogames is the most dogshit development in gaming.

Coming from a primarily Nintendo gaming background, but using an Xbox controller on PC genuinely makes me wanna throw the controller out of the window.

My gaming PC has 192gb of RAM, purchased a year ago to get Flight Simulator 2024 working. I'm practically Richard Branson in 2025, touch me.

I know why the PC gaming future conversation gained steam this year (pun?) but if you think that 2026 has good PC market vibes you have not been paying enough attention. OEMs are freaking the fuck out. “Challenging,” “difficult,” and “apocalyptic” are the adjectives being thrown around.

My Steam Replay for this year. I really don't do much PC gaming.

Everyone should play Look Outside.

Anyway, this talk about the 'father of indie gaming' got me thinking
Y'all should go play more DOS games and PC-98 games. There's some cool shit out there. Here are two amazing - and fairly easy - ways to do that.

Back in the day you got damning news articles written across gaming media when a single player game released with always online DRM, nowadays that doesn't even get a mention in the tech specs section of a PC gaming website. Remember how horse armor was ridiculed? Also completely normalized today

There’s never enough time but I put in some solid gaming hours on my PC this year despite a crazy work schedule and active social life. The Witcher took over the last few months of 2025 and I’ll probably be playing it well into 2026.
