I’m sure that my senators, @whitehouse.senate.gov and @reed.senate.gov, will vote against the Laken Riley Act. The both stand for equal protection and due process, not for profiling of any kind, especially racial/ethnic injustice like “Show me your papers.”

A little thread on anti-immigration acts happening now:
The Laken Riley act has been amended to be even more inhumane.
It expands mandatory detention, which could harm or kill elderly and children. It is barbaric.
