Ever since their S2 they’ve been firing on all cylinders! Got a great OVA, Nijiyon shorts were all super cute, loved the first movie and I’m excited for the second and third ones. After their first season, they completely flipped the script and it’s awesome to see!

nijigasaki was supposed to just be a side branch relegated to llas and they got so popular they had two seasons of anime, two seasons of nijiyon, and three whole ass movies so its not like theres a 0% chance of bb getting anime/movies but i dont think theyd wanna do it this early

idk if these count as Love Live Anime Canon but nijiyon is SOOOO much better than s1/s2 nijiani so if you love the girls but have no desire to read llas dialogue then nijiyon is kind of the ideal experience imo, and hasu is some of lls best story writing unfortunately tucked away behind fan subs

idk if these count as Love Live Anime Canon but nijiyon is SOOOO much better than s1/s2 nijiani so if you love the girls but have no desire to read llas dialogue then nijiyon is kind of the ideal experience imo, and hasu is some of lls best story writing unfortunately tucked away behind fan subs

my history with love live is weird bc, aside from reposting anime girls online that i didn't even know were from it, my complete history with love live is watching the first season of Nijiyon Animation, a gag chibi shortform series that even not all fans have heard of. which is, i'm told, weird!

Speaking of Love Live I gotta catch up on that. I've watched the first term of Hasunosora at latest. I also haven't checked Bluebird yet, I still need to play the Niji visual novel, I still need to watch the Niji movie and season 2 of Nijiyon, and hopefully there's a way to watch the musical now.

So yesterday, Nijiyon Animation 2 EP13-15 official subs are finally released, and now we're only waiting for the official subs of the first part of Nijigasaki trilogy (and hopefully the English dubs will be followed too for the OVA and the movie).
