The Tudor Gothic Craigend Stables at Mugdock Country Park on the outskirts of Glasgow. Probably designed by Alexander Ramsey, they were built in 1812 to serve the nearby Craigend Castle.

Ah was amazing, could see every crater etc, try get to an astronomy night where the bring the big scopes, again it's weather dependent, but I got lucky, now is about time of year they're on because skies are usually clearer, I know a couple are coming up in mugdock park, look around your area

The large bird has been spotted numerous times in and around the Moor Road area between Strathblane and Mugdock with locals their scratching their head over where the peacock came from.

Maxwell Park and Newlands Park ponds might be good. The small pond just south of Mugdock Castle used to be full of frogs. Some ponds do well, then are deserted next year. My tiny garden pond used to have frogs but they moved out when newts moved in. Anyone know good spots in Glasgow area? (2/2).
