Yep, we've used motionbuilder once to move the mocap data onto a proxy rig to then send to the metahuman in maya to do everything else. Which we then have to send to unreal after all thats done.

А тепер прикол, що Сінема пиздить ідеї у Блендер, хоча до того частину фіч Блендер спиздив у Сінеми)) я просто на Сінема, Блендер моделю, там просто в кожного є свої плюси для побудови меша, скелет - Сінема, а анімую вже в MotionBuilder, бо там дуже гнучка система анімації. І мені це все купують)

трохи апдейт по контету)) вирішив все ж робити ріггінг в MotionBuilder, тут просто дуже багато цікавих рішень для налаштування якісного рігіннгу. базу налаштував, варіативність роботи основних деталей - також, залишилось деталі доліпити, щоб всі поршні рухались і зброя робила піу піу))

I absolutely loathe biped tbh! I almost always end up building my own rigs. I only use biped when I have to work with mocap and even then I still have to go through motionbuilder to iron out the various joint flipping issues.

короче, автодески стали новими залупами, бо при спробі купити підписку на MotionBuilder отримуєш хуя за щоку, а не можливість придбати підписку на рік, а у реселлера тільки версія 2020. Єдина можливість придбання - Media&Entertaiment Collection, що на $600 дорожче

I have a talented friend who got laid off by EA. He’s a Motion Capture specialist. His skills range from capturing & capturing data, retargeting, animation polish w/ MotionBuilder, enhancement of mocap tools in Maya & MB. Any leads on jobs are greatly appreciated.

Also, it makes the playback in Maya/Blender smoother, closer to what we see in-game, since they don't make a distinction between animation sample rate and playback framerate like Motionbuilder and game engines do.

Some old Motionbuilder scripts were coming in clutch, today. That week spent making them has saved me at least 30 minutes, now. Cumulatively!
