My right hand was getting cramped drafting while spinning sock yarn on my Hansen Minispinner. Broke out my charka. I’m spinning naturally colored cotton from Peru. I use my left hand to draft when spinning cotton

It’s been an incredibly difficult 10 months. I bought my Hansen Pro miniSpinner in April and everything went haywire. Since Dad was helping pay for it, he insisted it be shipped to his house in Oregon. He wasn’t about to pay Idaho sales tax if he could avoid it.

Okay fine, I finally pulled out the minispinner and have been spinning some gotland wool. It’s been really nice, and the fiber is SO sheen-y. I swear after I finish this braid I’ll try supported spindling. Really. Truly. … Maybe.
