I got a new spindle today, a russian supported style, and now I am in the black hole of “doing research on how to use it so I don’t screw it up” rather than… I dunno… just trying? I’ve never done one handed drafting, and new things are scary. Also picking out which fiber to “sacrifice” to learning.

It is 4:37 in the morning and I have the unreasonable urge to learn supported spindling in order to spin my own cotton floss for cross stitching. Someone talk me out of this before I fall down a rabbit hole. lol

I was so excited when I saw Chibi robo in the trailer! It was one of my favorite gamecube games, and just so very fun to take care of your humans and make their lives better. :)

I made a thing yesterday, took me the majority of two full days to make, and my hands are unhappy at my choice. But he’s adorable and looks a little bit sassy because my french knots aren’t super great. XD

And so it begins, a new diamond painting, my first square one from Diamond Art Club (“Twilight Vibes” by Puffygator is the licensed artwork) and I got it to try out doing squares. The canvas was SO pretty before placing a single piece, I hope I do it justice. :)

I finished a diamond painting recently. It’s sparkly and colorful, and I enjoyed working on it - the biggest one I’ve made so far. :)

I still have that urge, when I get a new “toy”, to bring it to bed with me and hug it while I sleep. Whether it’s a stuffed animal, a video game, an ipad, some yarn… It’s a thing most people grow out of, and I guess I’m still a mental child lol. But really. I shouldn’t being an ipad to bed. :P
